2/3 cup of butter
2 pinches of salt
1 and 1/2 teaspoons of Equagold Everyday Vanilla Extract
3 ripe bananas
1/3 cup of sugar (add more if you like it sweeter)
2 and a 1/2 cups of flour
2 tablespoons of Equagold Superior Cinnamon
Add chopped walnuts and Equagold Couverture Milk Chocolate Chips (roughly 1/3 of a cup each or handful )
1/2 a teaspoon of baking powder
1/2 a teaspoon of baking soda.
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a loaf tin. Line with baking paper and trim the top, to make it easy to pour mixer in and lift out the tin easy when ready.
In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe with a fork until smooth. Combined melted butter in with the mashed bananas and stir.
Mix in the baking soda, baking powder, salt and Equagold Superior Cinnamon. Mix in the sugar, beaten eggs, and Equagold Everyday Vanilla Extract. Add in Equagold Couverture Milk Chocolate Chips, chopped walnuts and flour and make sure all ingredients are mixed in together.
Pour the batter into your prepared loaf tin and bake for 50 minutes to 1 hour at 350°F (175°C)
Insert a wooden skewer into the center of the loaf and check that it comes out clean.
Remove from oven and leave to cool in the tin for a few minutes.
Remove your banana loaf from tin by lifting out using the baking paper liner.
Let your yummy chocolate & walnut banana bread loaf cool before serving.
